Hello and welcome to Jurett Australian Shepherds, an ASCA registered kennel. The name Jurett was derived from my name (Julie) and my husbands name (Brett). Jurett consists of the two of us and our two sons, Joshua and Alexander. We are located 7 miles north of Oconomowoc, WI in the Town of Ashippun. We are about 45 minutes West of Milwaukee and 1 hour East of Madison.
I was introduced to the Australian Shepherd in 1998 when I attended a dog show with a friend and her mother was showing her aussies. Not long after I became totally hooked. I purchased my first Aussie in 1999, Blackhawk Remarkably Red Hot "Onyx".
Since becoming involved with Aussies I've completed in Conformation and Obedience with a very brief trial of agility. I've also been very involved with the local Aussie Club, Rock River Valley. I've served on the board on and off since 2003 holding the positions of Vice President, Secretary and board member.
In the past we have bred a few litters and are very pround of their accomplishments. Please visit our bred by pages to see all our litters. We have decided to take a break from breeding and concentration on training and trialing Phoenix and Maggie. We hope to obtain multiple titles in multiple venues.
